I plant Mammoth Sunflowers every spring and in the High desert it's not an easy task to keep them going .It usually snows or hails up until late May early June......the ground is rock hard and you have to keep working the soil. When I get the oppurtunity to take a photo like this, it is all worth it .One can color their own world with alot of perseverance and an abundant amount of water :)
