Main Line Steam - 2010

With 'Tangmere' and 'Oliver Cromwell' sidelined steam on the Bournemouth line saw a greater variety than in 2009. The Black 5 was a personal favourite, but 'Tornado', on its first venture into Dorset, grabbed the headlines. In addition to the locos I photographed I missed No. 46115 'Scots Guardsman' on 09/07/10 (due to having tickets for Cara Dillon at Eastleigh that night). The regular Wednesday 'Dorset Coast Express' was worked initiially by 'Sir Lamiel' and 'Bittern', with No. 44932 featuring towards the end of the summer.
