92-080 Hastings Signal Box with a Class 205 d.mu. in the background
Scan of a slide taken 05/09/92; I'm assuming the NSE liveried unit in the background is a Class 205. These were the second batch of 2H units, numbered 1119–1122, built as 2-car units in 1958 for services on the Marshlink Line from Hastings to Ashford. These units were reclassified as Class 204 upon the introduction of TOPS. However, in May 1979, following the disbandment of the four Class 206 units, they were strengthened to three cars and re-designated as Class 205s.
