96-006 Cabless Bulleid Merchant Navy Pacific No. 35005 'Canadian Pacific' in the course of being repainted into BR blue livery

Scan of a slide taken 02/02/96 at the Great Central railway Loughborough: I cannot recall what sparked repainting 'CanPac' into BR blue. It is a livery the class carried before being rebuilt, but I am unsure whether or not it was applied to No 35005.
