157 SHOWER: MINIMALIST PURITY OF LINE MEETS MAXIMUM FUNCTIONALITY
Teuco extends its Next+ Series to create a brand new generation of showers
Airiness and transparency are words which could describe the thinking behind the Next+ series, a collection of designs which combine ergonomics, ease-of-installation and maximum functionality. Following the success of model 155 and more recently the 156, Teuco is proud to present the new rectangular-shaped 157 Next+.
Designed by Nilo Gioacchini, the 157 is recognisable by its sheer clarity of line, thanks to wall panelling made entirely of glass, the total absence of upright profiles, a greatly reduced use of acrylic and the availability of two special colours for the back panel. Known as ‘Pearl Ice/Sky’ and ‘Pearl White’, both options make the glass appear markedly more ‘visible’, thereby reinforcing the overall effect of light and space.
The rectangular dimensions of this shower (112cm x 80cm) are amongst the most requested in the market-place. Furthermore, the 157 has one additional advantage, the fact that its wall-contact-area measures only 60cm making it ideal in the event of future renovation work or as a product replacement.
All the internal features of the Next+ Series have been specifically designed by Teuco to guarantee maximum spacial dimension and freedom of movement within. For instance, the fold-up seat can be neatly tucked away when not being used for relaxing during steam saunas or providing support as using the massage band facility.
The 157 is also notable for its rich variety of features, capable of satisfying even the most demanding of consumers. In addition to its Turkish bath complete with atmospheric lighting, it has an overhead to give an energising and stimulating shower as well as a ‘Scottish’ hot/cold water effect and multi-jet lymphatic drainage function.
Next+ cabins not only offer ease-of-use but also ease-of-installation thanks to unique injection-moulding technology which reduces the number of components required and ensures that their assembly is totally silicone-free. The 157 also provides for two types of installation: semi-recessed into the floor for those who prefer and are physically able to achieve a cleaner-lined look or sit-on for a simpler, less involved installation.
