Test of Time
High above Mallam in the Yorkshire Dales is this exposed stretch of Limestone pavement with the iconic lone tree.
Stood there on this rather gloomy day I couldn't help but wonder how many stormy windy days this rather gnarled tree had withstood over the years and how many people had stood in the spot I was standing admiring the tenacity of nature.
On the technical side this was taken with a Fuji X-E1 a lowly 12mp camera converted to info red, in the days of high mega pixel cameras this goes to show what 12 mp can still achieve.
