Land of the Baby Arches
I firmly believe that Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park should be renamed Baby Arches National Park! The number of tiny arches carved out of its soft, porous sandstone number in the hundreds (maybe even thousands if you look hard enough). While its not easy to tell given the context of this image, the main arch above isn't more than a couple of feet high. It turned me into a contortionist trying to compose this shot! There were probably four or five arches in this little complex alone and I managed to get three in this particular composition. What a cool place!
