Henselite Grippo Bowls Polish
My Grandfather played bowls during the 1950s and 60s for Bristol Greenbank Bowls Club - which still exists today. It website says: "Bristol Greenbank, like Frys, were spawned from the confectionary industry. Indeed Mr H J Packer, the founder of the company on who's land our green was constructed, once worked for Frys but left to form his own business".
When my Grandfather died on 14 January 1972, aged 74, his set of Henselite Bowls passed to me - and I still have them. The pictured tin of Grippo polish, now completely dried and hard, was in the bag with the bowls.
