New cutter Jane Sherwood has lent me some of her early jigsaws to put together.
Jane has created interesting piece shapes with big bold curves. A couple of the pieces had broken across narrow necks (in the first dividing cut), but could be taped to adjacent pieces. The pieces are rather large so Jane's next step is the reduce their size whilst maintaining their complexity and interest.

I started with the edges, then it was a case of picking a colour or pattern and building from it. Lovely bright colours in this artwork, which was from a calendar.
