Talented new hand-cutter Gray Finney of Prickly Puzzles creates his own stylish artwork - using lino / wood block print styles and AI. Gray has found a way of creating a metallic finish on his puzzles - as in this one Two Cats.
Gray wants his designs to be small and perfectly formed - his cuts are designed to be interesting and difficult without the need for brute forcing (systematic trial and error, which he thinks is no fun).
I fell in love with the otter, with its sympathetic soft colours and the diagonal movement in the composition - and the delightful hedgerow bird and the fantastic dropout sun's rays.

Sorry I didn't get the piece counts or dimensions for the other jigsaws he'd brought:

- Field mouse
-Two Cats
- Hedgehogs
I'm looking forward to commissioning one or two of these. I'd gathered a couple up from the tables and was about to start when I was pushed unwillingly into packing up first. Not trying these was one of my biggest regrets from the house party (along with not chatting enough to all the members present).
