Three Versions of The Return of the Treasure Ships UK & USA 1

To complement Joe Seymour's jigsaw I looked for other versions of The Return of the Treasure Ships in my records.

Left: A jigsaw by local man Mr Thornton of Lincoln, which I bought in Aug 2016. The piece has been replaced now.

HP Thornton of Lincoln 511pc Return of Treasure Ship 1repl, line-cut push-fit in a smooth style, 20x16in. It was complete in Sept 1939. Mr Thornton stamped the back of one of his pieces with his address of 28 Mount St Lincoln.

Centre Column: A jigsaw sold in Jan 21 from the estate of a respected USA collector, who kept detailed notes on an index card.

Vintage 341pc The Treasure Ship, 12x10in, original box gone. A decorative, loopy cut - 3/16in 3-ply.

Right: A parker Pastime, in poor condition with 8pcmiss and extensive damage to the paper surface.

Parker Pastime 304pc Return of the Treasure Ships, 8pcmiss extensive paper damage, probably semi-interlocking, c 15.3in across. Sold in USA in May 21 for $65.

I don't know if it can be dated by experts from the whimsy set.
