Three Laser Cut Jigsaws Ploughing 2

For the theme of 'Life on the Farm', here are three modern laser-cut jigsaws. Two are contemporary and use the same image in the UK & USA, Fall Ploughing by Grant Wood, 1931. The same image has also been used by Foxsmartbox (242pc, 10.6x13.5in, not shown).

Top Left & Centre: Go Anywhere Puzzles 'Amish Harvest'. This USA supplier ceased trading about 7-9 years ago. They were designed as small travel puzzles to complement the GoAnywhere case/portable board. The jigsaws were fragile, often a bit sooty and packed in the most ridiculous video-tape plastic boxes, but the jigsaw concepts were interesting and varied. Unfortunately, these photos don't allow you to see much of the cut.

Left Side: Victory Reboot 250pc Fall Plowing (sic) by Grant Wood, c2022, diagonal triangle/diamond whimsy cut. All the whimsies are upright (apart from the model easel) and heavily decorated. These are publicity shots for the jigsaw. I bought a copy at the launch, made in UK in 3mm medite board, which had some manufacturing faults. When Wentworth announced they were moving to 4mm medite board, Victory Reboot decided to move their manufacturing operations to China, where they are cutting thick plywood. The design and central functions are still carried out in the UK, and the founder is American - so has a good knowledge of the USA laser-cutting scene. Victory Reboot have yet to move beyond 250pc jigsaws, but their third launch of images had interesting cuts.

Right Column & Centre: Nautilus 351pc Fall Ploughing Grant Wood 14x11in 'modern cut' difficulty level 2 ($80 £59+pp+vat). Nautilus are a solid budget-to-middle-of-the-road USA laser-cutting brand. On the evidence of this jigsaw their cuts are traditional and their whimsies relatively undecorated.

They have a large range, and I would like to try some of their images, but I have other priorities in USA laser-cuts. I have Nautilus 404pc Neptune's Horses by Walter Crane, 350pc Winter Buddies by Abraham Hunter (shaped) & 368pc St Patrick by Jim Fitzpatrick which I have done and which has amazing whimsies.
