HP Thornton of Lincoln 511pc Return of the Treasure Ship, 1pcmiss 20x16in. Cutter stamped rear of one of the pieces with his address 28 Mount St Lincoln. I liked the careful line cutting and the colours and the missing piece has now been replaced.
The original box is sturdy brown cardboard with a pre-printed & hand-written label. I have seen others with the word LINDUM above the words JIG SAW PUZZLE, (Lincoln, by analogy with Glevum for Gloucester). I don't know the name of the artist.
