In her selection for A Splash of Colour, Nicki showed a vintage British Jigsaw Library jigsaw, cut by Dick Sawbridge 500pc August, Falconry & Chateau d'Etampes, from the Tres Riches Heures of the Duc de Berry.
This is another image from that exquisite illuminated book, April, The Betrothal showing the Chateau de Dourdan.
Two smaller photos, Lower Centre, & Lower Right Corner: Details of jigsaw and label, Victory Gold Box 500pc, interlocking whimsy cut 19x15in. Sold c April 2014.
Remaining photos: Miss K Rutherford Library no 1013 631pc The Betrothal, 16x20in. Chunky plywood, mahogany backed, push-fit jigsaw, few shallow knobs with some line-cutting. Bought Jan 2021.
