Vintage Renaissance Lady Profile 2 DSC09447

A beautiful vintage jigsaw, lent by a friend, that I have been waiting to start for a long while. It is an example of the magic of push-fit - when unlikely looking pieces turn into something wonderful.

I think it might have been a British Jigsaw Library puzzle, but it has been housed in a modern gift box by an owner in the past. The plywood is pale, and has been polished/waxed on the rear so the pieces feel very nice to handle. There is one replacement that I've noticed.

I started with the red/gold fabric before moving on to hair and jewels. The jigsaw is beautifully line-cut.
