BCD House Party 2020 Show & Tell 7 DSC07571

On the far right, on the edge of the frame is a Vera Apollo of a Van Gogh painting, La Crau The Harvest (Arles), with its black & gold box behind.

In the centre a collage jigsaw cut by Enid Stocken of Leisure & Pleasure, showing Weaving in a Shetland Cottage. Its owner says it is difficult - you can see some of Enid's whimsies clearly against the dark areas in the photo. Enid must have cut a few of these collage type jigsaws because I have a couple too, all in the same format. I wonder if they all came from the same magazine, calendar or book? (850pc Lace Making, 825pc Gilding - I also know of Stained Glass)

One the left with their boxes are a pair of Salmon Academy jigsaws: which you can see on the left, together with their boxes.

Top L: Salmon Academy 200pc Knole House From the Gardens, globular strip-cut, with some diagonal cutting lines. Small green jazzy box.

Lower L: Salmon Academy 325pc Wyre Piddle 14x10in, globular strip cut with some quite narrow necks, - jazzy blue patterned box with shield label, watercolour by AR Quinton.

Wikipedia:

Alfred Robert Quinton (1853–1934) was an English watercolour artist, known for his paintings of British villages and landscapes. Many of these were published as postcards (by Salmon), which are popular with today's collectors. His paintings have also been published in many calendars. Well over 2,000 of his paintings were published between 1904 and the time of his death. He also illustrated a number of books including "The Historic Thames" by Hilaire Belloc.

A book was published about his work:

Quinton, A. R. The Rural England of A.R.Quinton (J. Salmon Ltd. 1990)
