A detail of Swallows. The 265pc British Jigsaw Library puzzle was line-cut in push-fit style by Mr Lea and includes three spade (card suit) symbols, one of which is large and sub-divided. It is an attractive image, enhanced by the line-cutting.
We see fewer swallows after we demolished our loose boxes and replaced it with a brick garage, even though we left a hole in the wall and provided nesting places under an eaves. I miss the birds, but not the mess they create!
