An example of a large shaped Beatrix Potter character Jemima Puddleduck, cut for Warne Chandos (Potter's publisher) by the Expert Robert Plumb (or in his style). This is the most frequently seen of the Expert cut shaped Potter figures, initially 18in then 14in tall. Later Warne continued to produce Potter jigsaws in a much simpler cut for many years, for children which can often be found on ebay. (This jigsaw was sold in the last few days on ebay and disappointingly made a very modest sum of £16 - another copy is currently on offer at a laughable £195 - I paid £41 for one in June 2019, such are the oddities of ebay!)
