DSC00846 Eric Pedley British Jigsaw Library Owl
This fine jigsaw was one of David S's show & tell jigsaws for the 2024 house party theme 'The Living World'.

Sept 2019:
A fascinating third entry to the show and tell from our chairman, also completed by Emma at the meeting. It has an edge of split knobs and caps which I call a mushroom edge and have seen Genest do in other puzzles. This beauty is by Eric Pedley and also includes split earlet knobs, accurate line cutting and a spiral feature I've also encountered before. This spiral feature occurs in my jigsaw Bubbles and Eric Pedley's Yoga, owned by a friend.
I'll link to David's write up to Owl on Jigasaurus when he uploads it.

"Superb semi-interlocking plywood 160pc jigsaw puzzle (10x8.5in, 1980s) cut by Eric Pedley and featuring some of his finest techniques. Colour line-cut throughout and with a very stylish shaped outline, he has created a fully interlocking border to hold the semi-interlocking and push-fit subject area firmly in place. The painting still shows the partial signature of the British wildlife artist Basil Ede."
