Holtzapffel 504pc Man With Parrot 4
A colourful classic wooden jigsaw is in progress, which later turned out to be one I recognised when the parrots were more complete. Unfortunately I didn't manage to get a photo of the complete jigsaw (what was I thinking!) - I can only plead that I was hard at work on Swallows, and the owner of this beauty must have left early. These are Anobethio's selling images. The jigsaw was cut from a travel poster, the artwork by Percy Padden was 'West Indies by MV Alcantra, January 1932, The Royal Mail Steam Packet Company'.
You can see a photo of it on Anobethio's photostream, and it has also been placed on Jigasaurus (the owner of that site is a Holtzapffel Figure-It-Out specialist, who identified the source poster).

POST SCRIPT: According to the photo in the BCD magazine this copy of the jigsaw is missing all the scenery on the right with the jigsaw's edge corresponding to the parrot's back.
