Vera Bridge Augustus in Dresden on the Elbe by Kokoschka DSC06737

This BCD member brought along two Vera puzzles to the Show & Tell - he has a fondness for fiddly French push-fit jigsaws. This is the Augustus Bridge on the Elbe in Dresden, by the artist Kokoschka.

Oskar Kokoschka (1 March 1886 – 22 February 1980) was an Austrian artist, poet and playwright best known for his intense expressionistic portraits and landscapes.

About twelve years ago I saw the work the Prometheus Triptych at the Courtauld Gallery. - the three canvases are together more than 8m wide.

Although in general I don't like white borders to jigsaws, with cutting this fine they become a feature in their own right, or almost a separate difficult puzzle which could be ignored if preferred.
