Self seeded Nigella growing in my front garden. This area was a scrubby patch of grass full of Dandelions when I first moved here, but I decided to dig it all over and make it into a garden area.
It looks amazing in the early spring with hundreds of Daffodils, then Tulips, Acers, Witch Hazel, Alium, self seeded Phacelia, to name a few.
A couple of years ago I sowed some Nigella seeds and this is the result. Beautiful baby blues, and this will be complimented with Sea Holly soon.
