Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre

The original hall was a hunting lodge built in the late 17th century.

Local history holds that Oliver Cromwell passed the night in bedroom 8 on the first floor before the battle of Naseby in 1645.

In more recent times the hall was a boarding school for excluded pupils and was bought by Nagarjuna Kadampa Meditation Centre in 2017
