Long shots with detail are difficult. The tree surgeon tied the section to be cut away with rope which was attached to a pulley so it could be eased down slowly. This was the biggest piece to come down this way. The finer, earlier branches had been cut ant left to drop. Some had landed in the water and two pieces damaged the lock gate arm a bit.
