OOAK_Slave_Jasmine_Doll
Well, here's my new Disney OOAK creation.I always liked Jasmine as a slave and found her very sexy in this outfit,so I decided to make it... -Jafar!!!!!-
I had a spare Classic 1992 Jasmine doll, and even though she was dressed in her extra purple fashion from 1992,I decided to make a slave Jasmine doll from the last scenes of the film...I can always buy another Jasmine doll to put the purple fashion on...So,I washed, combed and detangled her hair, and then I caught them up on a ponytail, wrapped with this gold ribbon.I also added a gold crown I had found in my sister's dolls, and I made this "twirly" detail on her hair in the front, just like in the film...I cheated a little though...I covered her molded on earrings with her hair...Even though this Jasmine headmold from Mattel is so pretty and movie accurate,I hate the fact that the earrings are molded on the head.Jasmine wears long earrings with 2 of her outfits during the 3 films, and I can't change her earrings because of that fact...Fortunately,I found a way though...Even the Disney Store and Simba, have made removable earrings for Jasmine not "stuck" on her head..Anyway,I made her long gold earrings, just like in the movie, from a gold plastic detergent bottle that we had!!!(LOL!)I didn't want to make them from a cheap paper,so I cut a part of the plastic gold bottle, designed them on it and then cut them...Her red harem pants are from the Disney Store Fashion pack(as well as Abu).I carefully removed the red jewel and the golden strings from the pants, cause I think they are more movie accurate this way....The Disney Store bra was too small for the breasts of this doll, and there isn't any Barbie today with this tanned skintone most 80's and 90's beach barbies had...So,I found a red ribbon in my stuff, which had exactly the same color as the pants and made a bra....I had a spare white pair of genie shoes from the classic Jasmine, which I painted gold. The gold lamp she is holding is from my playmobil toys..Finally,I made the golden snake-bracelet on her arm from thin gold ribbon.I have to say it was really hard to make it stand on her arm, that's why I used a little glue...I used some yellow thread to put it alltogether, and some red to make the snake's eye...I tried hard and did the best I could to make this Jasmine pretty and movie accurate...What do you think?Do you like her?
