To Infinity
My original plan was to photograph the sunset from a pier that I scouted on the Eastern side of Lake Tahoe, but as I walked closer I saw several
no trespassing signs that said the area was under video surveillance. I initially ignored the signs because I thought the pier was on public lands, but when I arrived at the pier I discovered that I was staring directly at a camera. I thought about ignoring it for a minute before electing to go for plan B.
I really wasn't expecting much out of this sunset because of the thick cloud cover to the West and the 30mph winds, but I decided to stick it out anyway. I am glad I did, because just as the sun set, a faint pink glow illuminated the horizon. : )
