The Tree

The shape of the Winter tree becomes much more obvious and the structure and individual character can be seen all around the landscape showing their graceful and stately shape.

The fantastic colours that change from season to season especially the Autumnal carpet of rich reds golds from the fallen leaves, and then the many shades of greens with all the new foliage in Spring and Summer it really is a natural wonder how the tree goes through all these different stages.

I love walking through the woods where you are surrounded by trees because there is something so magical about being close to these lungs of the earth, with that special dappled light giving the shade of the leaves on a hot day or a cover for that sudden downpour of rain it all adds to a wonderful feeling.
