Autumn arrives

Autumn’s picturesque arrival

Is a colorful array

Of red and gold and orange,

In flamboyant, rich display.

 

Wisps of smoke from chimneys

Tell of cozy, crackling fires;

Fall is being born,

As summer now retires.
