Completed Tribal Bra
Here's the bra on my duct tape dress form.
The coins and kuchi pendant make this thing remarkably heavy. My original plan was to have the cups completely covered in coins, but I underestimated how many I'd need, and decided to stop here. I think it looks fine, but I may go back and finish it.
The cowrie shells and coins were sewn on using beading thread, which is very strong and designed specifically for this purpose. Each coin was individually anchored to the bra, so that if the thread should break, the will not unravel like a sweater.
