Foam Patterns at Whale Cove

Whale Cove, on the Oregon Coast near Depoe Bay, is a protected part of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge. Along with whales it provides protected habitat for nesting seabirds and resting and pupping habitat for Harbor Seals. We stayed at the Whale Cove Inn. The next morning, I enjoyed watching the foam make different patterns in the bay as waves rolled in.
