Callanish Stones Textures
On the Isle of Lewis, we experienced the Stones of Callanish. Thirteen standing stones form a circle about 13 m in diameter, with a long avenue of stones to the north, and shorter stone rows to the east, south, and west. The site is thought to have been constructed about 5000 years ago. The light on this photo emphasized the shadows, shapes, and textures of the stones.
