Katherind's Theater
The theater opened in 1947 and was the smaller of the towns two movie houses. It was a Quonset Hut-style building built using WWII era surplus, with Streamline Moderne façade and décor. The Kay Theatre had a small balcony, originally for the use of African-American patrons in the era of segregation. The theatre closed in 1962.
