Jax is an almost 9-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, Miniature Schnauzer mix. He acts like he is 3-years-old still, with enough energy to make me feel like I’m 30 years older than I am. He has a lot of nicknames throughout the years, including: Jaxie-poo, poopers, el Niño, burrito, taco, and Jaxson when he is in trouble. He was adopted from the SDSPCA (San Diego, California) in 2013 while I was stationed there in the Navy. His favorite things include: my mom (who he knows as grandma), fetch, sleeping under blankets or covers, and chasing squirrels. He loves to cuddle. He is too smart for his own good, and knows how to communicate what he wants. He is protective of his human 3-year-old brother, always keeps an eye on him. He is fiercely protective and we know we are safe with him in the house.
