Little-known history. The U.S. Army in Russia in 1918. They were actually enmeshed in the Russian Bolshevik Revolution. These soldiers, including this gentleman from Michigan, fought in Siberia. The U.S. Army finally left in 1920, but about 420 American soldiers did not return. They were killed in combat or froze to death.
