There are plenty of forts and palaces in India and each with its own unique history and unique sense of charm about them.
On a visit to Rajasthan, one is likely to come across plenty and more of these forts and palaces and it is indeed a challenge to photograph each of them in a unique and different ways. I was fortunate to visit Kumbhalgarh at my favorite time of the day and was also fortunate to grab a shot of the mysterious looking trees with the fort in the foreground!

About Kumbalgadh Fort
Kumbhalgarh (also called Kumbhalmer or Kumbalgarh) is a Mewar fortress in the Rajsamand District of Rajasthan state in western India. Built during the course of the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, and enlarged through the 19th century, Kumbhalgarh is also a birthplace of Maharana Pratap, the great king and warrior of Mewar. Occupied until the late 19th century, the fort is now open to the general public as a museum and is spectacularly lit for a few minutes each evening. Kumbalgarh is situated 82 km from Udaipur towards its northwest and is easily accessible by road. It is the most important fort in Mewar after Chittaurgarh.
