Let it Snow

For the daily challenge......"arches"

 

I was out braving the shopping mall today trying not to let the pre-Christmas crowds get me down. I happened to come upon this little house which immediately transported me back to my childhood and my Mother's favorite Christmas decorations. She had a grouping of little houses similar to this which she would create a little vingnette with on the hall table. I knew that I had to have this one for myself. It was just a happy accident that it happened to have "arched" windows.

 

I doesn't bother me that the hightlights are blown in the main window. I think it feels inviting and adds a real spark to the picture.
