Taken outside the digestion tanks that convert solids from sewage into water that is then cleaned further to become non-potable water and the solids and bacteria that eat the solids become "cakes" that are sold to Bentley Agrodynamics and turned into fertilizer and part of the company also makes biodiesel, seen at the south lake tahoe public utility district

the kids got a great lesson in how math and science can lead to a career locally!
