the toes
Who knew on his first day of life that we would develop a family joke that dad will eat his toes......some giggle fest ensues and he hides them and dad tries to grab them...the munchkin now threatens to eat our toes and just last night was after mine.....teeth and all......makes us laugh so hard and then i see this photo from his first 24 hours and cannot believe how big his feet are now, granted only a size 7 toddler, not big in reality just in comparison
today we celebrate his 4th birthday and I am all emotional and unable to sleep.....hormones, emotion, heartburn.....we are a family of 3, this little guy has grown and is healthy and spoiled and "precocious"(the librarian's word) and loved more than I ever knew was possible....crying with tears dropping down my face now, cold on the hotness of my skin.......must stop!
