homemade grape jam made with black thompson pesticide free grapes mixed with black seedless and pressed apple juice and about 2 cups of sugar......I did not skim the foam I like it to look chunky and hope it sets, we were out of grape jam so I do not have to buy any now
I figure i used about 2 pounds of grapes @ $2.50 a pound, free apples expressed the juice and 2 cups of organic sugar....not sure the cost there about 2 bucks i bet.....so for under 5 bucks and my time and a little gas on the stove I have enough jam to last us through january.....we do not eat that much but of late the neighbor boy and emerson ask for jelly sandwiches and since the neighbor says he prefers grape.....we ran out!
