These behavior changes are typically seen in breeds of dogs that may also have allergies and other immune system dysfunctions. Breeds that show many of these behavioral changes include English Setters, Golden Retrievers, Akitas, Rottweiler, Dobermans, English Springer Spaniels, Shetland Sheepdogs, and German Shepherd dogs (Aronson & Dodds, 2005).
