Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service Scania P 270 (AU06 LHK)
2006 Scania P 270 9.0
One of NFRS's older Scania fire appliances answering a shout on the Hoveton side of the River Bure in the Norfolk Broads.
Not sure what was going on but all three sevices seemed to be responding to the same incident.
A few hundred yards to the right of this shot lies the River Bure. On one side of the bridge that crosses it is Hoveton and on the opposite side is Wroxham. However, most people (locals aside) presume that the whole area is Wroxham.
Having the 'Roys of Wroxham' complex of shops on the Hoveton side of the river probably doesn't help matters. With Roys having been there since 1899 I can't see it changing the name any time soon!
