L'albero è un filtro che ci permette di respirare aria pulita.
Attraverso il processo della fotosintesi trasforma l'acqua e l'anidride carbonica in ossigeno utilizzando l'energia proveniente dai raggi solari che colpiscono le foglie.
Ogni albero produce in media 20-30 litri di ossigeno al giorno, e solo gli alberi producono ossigeno.
Ogni uomo necessita in media di 300 litri di ossigeno al giorno per vivere sano.
La popolazione mondiale attualmente è di circa 6,3 miliardi di individui ed ha un incremento annuo pari all'1,3% (circa 81 milioni di persone in più ogni anno).
Gli alberi ci restituiscono l'ossigeno che l'inquinamento ci toglie e la civiltà moderna vive sempre più in ambienti inquinati.
Dal 1950 ad oggi l'attività umana ha rilasciato all'atmosfera più di 200 miliardi di tonnellate di carbonio e l'anidride carbonica, da esso derivata, ha raggiunto livelli mai visti in precedenza.
Distruggere gli alberi significa distruggere le risorse di ossigeno del pianeta e rendere l'aria sempre più irrespirabile.

Trees have a filter that allows us to breathe clean air.
Through the process of photosynthesis they turn water and carbon dioxide into oxygen using energy from sunlight.
Each tree produces an average of 20-30 liters of oxygen per day, and only trees are able to produce oxygen.
Every man needs an average of 300 liters of oxygen per day for healthy living.
