Took this panoramic shot at the crack of dawn about 500 ft above the camp, so roughly at 15,500 ft altitude. The head was throbbing as I trudged up the hill and it was a tough climb....and cold! The village of Karzok is in the foreground. The white peak of Mt. Gya in the background is the Tibetan border.
