Bethartoli Himal
Bethartoli Himal, as seen here from Auli. She is not the highest mountain around and is very commonly mistaken for Trishul, but the sheer beauty of the three peaked mountain is breathtaking. Seen here in the first light of the morning, she protects the Goddess, Nanda Devi, facing North and East, basking in the sun! She forms the outer wall of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary to the south.
To the east of Bethartoli lies Nanda Ghunti and Nanda Kot. To the North West lies Dunagiri and Changabang. North of this peak is Nanda Devi, safely located within the walls of the Inner Sanctuary. You cannot go there.
