Horses on the Changthang
We were driving through this narrow gorge when we chanced upon this group of horses, grazing on the tiny patch of grass, oblivious to our intrusion. They most likely belonged to the Changpas, or Tibetan nomads. Changthang means "Northern Plains", referred to the western extension of the Tibetan plateau.
