Taken at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, USA. The YRF-84F was used in two U.S. Air Force experimental programs, the development of the F-84F fighter-bomber and the testing of the “parasite” fighter concept. It was tested as a “parasite” aircraft under a B-36.
