I've been busy sprucing the farm house for a spring wedding. I will tell you more about that later. Also, I've been tweaking a poetry calendar to give out as a Christmas present this year. My family has always valued home-made presents the most whatever they be.
Other than that ... I've just been enjoying watching my chicken, Nugget, enjoy life! And I've been noticing how well my old, old dog and I communicate. Is it just me or are dogs more in-tune with humans lately? Alas, she has a giant tumor on her belly and is too old to undergo surgery so I treasure every day with her. It is not cancerous or she'd be in pain or dead, most likely, as long as she's had it. It just looks so uncomfortable:(
