There's a lever on the other side that retracts either the pistol or shotgun trigger. It is shown in the optional firing mode of both units at once. It holds 11 rounds of .44 CPC (Caseless pistol cartridges) and 3 rounds of caseless 12 gauge ammunition.

Preferred by those who need compact firepower with a real kick.
