Painted relief by Robert Nicholas Mellamphy (1927-2016), on long-term loan from the Mellamphy family to Woodbridge Riverside Trust.
The image shows the iconic helmet and other grave goods from the Sutton Hoo burial ship, along with a depiction of the ship and burial rites.
On display in the John Gibbins Gallery, upstairs at the Longshed (where a full-size replica of the ship is currently under construction), Woodbridge.
