The Shell Line
Begun in 2005 by two friends, Lida Kindersley and Els Bottema while both undergoing (successful) breast cancer treatment, as a symbol of friendship, and to mark the site as their "healing place". It is made up of 20,000 whelk shells, and stretches for over 300 yards (275 metres).
